On our way to Atlanta. @thejudgegunn doesn’t know that I took this photo nor that I’m posting it. #dragoncon here we come!
#gotgpicoftheday About to head to #DragonCon in Atlanta with @thejudgegunn. Here he is working hard in his onset Rocket gear. (Actually it was pretty hard crawling around like a crab for 12 hours a day, providing the acting base for Rocket in the movie, so I forgave him these little catnaps he’d take behind me in video village a couple times a day). Meet us both tomorrow in Atlanta! #gotg #guardiansofthegalaxy
I accepted @vindiesel’s challenge to me to #PlantaTreeforGroot and now I challenge all #GuardiansoftheGalaxy fans to plant a tree! Post a photo of the tree you planted on Instagram or Twitter with #plantatreeforgroot & @jamesgunn. If 50 of you do this I’ll give 5000 dollars to the Rainforest Trust who help save rain forests all over the world.
One of my favorite pics from the premiere. Two great dudes I’m lucky to have in my movie and as lifelong friends. @prattprattpratt @realbautista #gotg #guardiansofthegalaxy
#gotgpicoftheday Lee Pace is so tall that he sometimes had to kneel so that the costume folks could adjust his headdress before a take. #gotg #guardiansofthegalaxy
#gotgpicoftheday Nebula - @karensgillan - takes a relaxing break by smoking an imaginary cigarette (the only kind allowed in Disney films). #gotg #guardiansofthegalaxy
Meet @thejudgegunn (onset Rocket & Kraglin in #GotG) at #DragonCon in Atlanta this weekend. Sean will be signing from 10:30 am on at the Walk of Fame Saturday & Sunday. I’ll be signing Saturday from 2 to 4 pm and Sunday 5 to 6:30 pm. We’ll be doing panels on #GuardiansoftheGalaxy and Sean’s love life in the Atrium Ballroom on Saturday from 5:30 to 6:30 and on Sunday from 2:30 to 3:30. We’ll try to make the panels as different as possible so you can come to both. My autograph will be free (so come early!) but I’ll have a way you can donate to help #PlantaTreeforGroot. Can’t wait to see you all there!
One more tiger picture I took. What beautiful animals. These ones seemed happy in their large enclosure. They had clean coats and were relaxed and playful and didn’t show any stereotypic behaviors (like the pacing back and forth or other repetitive behaviors you sometimes see in zoos, which are signs of stress). But they did overtly crawl along and STALK every young child that walked by, which was pretty hilarious. This one just got done checking out a particularly tender morsel that was a two year old Indian girl. The little girl was blissfully unaware, giggling and clapping as all of the tigers were paying so much attention to her.
